Phase 1: Initial Appointment–Getting to Know You
After you reach out to us by phone, email, or the contact form on the site, we schedule the first appointment to get acquainted with you.

This is our chance to learn about you, your preferences, and truly determine what you are seeking to do with your landscaping job. We invest as much time as necessary in this stage to develop a good comprehension of your goals so we can find the proper solutions and design the ideal space.
Our designers will ask a Whole Lot of questions during this appointment, including:
- What exactly are you wishing to change in your yard or landscape?
- What do you dislike or like or dislike about your existing picture? Formal design, natural, contemporary, cottage-feel, etc.
- Having photos available of what you like can be useful at this point. Not everyone interprets a certain design style in the same manner!
- What plants would be your favorites, or what colors do you like the most?
- Can Be more/less privacy a concern? What views on the property are important to enhance or block?
- During what period do you want to find the landscape at its best? Are four seasons of curiosity that a priority?
- How do you need to use the space?
- Do you have some drainage problems that need to be addressed?
- Just how much maintenance are you prepared to do following the project, or will you contract that outside?
If you only have a rough idea of exactly what you’re looking for or do not feel you could answer some of those questions, don’t worry! Our seasoned landscape designers can help you produce the perfect vision for your space.
We will also ask you in your financial plan and the event, you’d like to do the project all at once or in stages. Our designers do a fantastic job of supplying ballpark figures of how much a project could cost dependent on the dialogue in this very first consultation. While we cannot provide specific figures at this stage we like to place budget guidelines in place so that we can design a solution that will fit your budget and prevent frustration down the road.
Hopefully, we establish that we’re a good match for one another in this meeting. We will then decide if there’s a design fee needed to proceed forward. Design fees vary depending upon the size and scope of the undertaking, and not all jobs require a design fee. If the two parties agree to proceed, we program a design presentation.
Phase 2: Design–Getting to Work
After we’ve met with you and decided the aims of your project, we spend some time on your property to examine the site further.
We take photos at this time too.
We then return to the office and begin designing.
For most projects, we will produce a 3D design using our 3D landscaping software. You will have the ability to see your house and present features surrounded by the new landscape we have designed for you.
Seeing the landscape design in 3D allows you to visualize exactly what your future landscape will look like. This can prevent the frustration of attempting to comprehend and imagine a 2D print, also it enables us to create changes on the fly if needed. All in all, the 3D design will save time and money.
Phase 3: Design Presentation/Proposal Review
We schedule the first design review within fourteen days of your initial appointment with us. This appointment can take place at our office or your place.
Together, we examine how the landscape design, plants, and material choice and discuss how the land is going to be changed. Small changes could be made to the design in the minute as needed. If more significant changes to the design are needed, another meeting will be scheduled.
We then review the real proposal at this time. For larger projects, the first presentation may include a conceptual design and funding proposal. A second appointment will be set for a final design presentation and proposal.
Phase 4: Installation
The setup method is scheduled to start after a signed agreement is obtained with a deposit. We start ordering materials, scheduling subcontractors, pulling licenses, and locating utility lines. We update you regularly seeing schedule updates.
During the building, the designer will make daily site visits to ensure that the project is being installed based on the design. The designer will remain your primary contact throughout the duration of the project.
Phase 5: Care
